Books Love & Taters Book Festival was introduced to Ocilla, Georgia on October 27th, 2012. This festival was created to fill a void to not only showcase books in South Georgia, but to help promote literacy too. Authors and Illustrators are invited to come and introduced themselves to the community.

Books Love & Taters Book Festival is held during the Georgia Sweet Potato Festival in Ocilla, Georgia on the last Saturday in October.
What better way to promote literacy? Come out... Meet the authors... Meet the illustrators... Ask questions... Buy a book or 2 or 3... Get an autograph... Have your picture taken with them... But most of all, HAVE FUN!
